Our courses:

1. Adult First Aid Awareness – our adult first aid awareness course is ideal for individuals who want to understand the basics of first aid and be prepared for common emergencies. The course covers key topics such as assessing an emergency, dealing with minor injuries (e.g. cuts or bruises), recognising/managing more serious health issues (e.g. heart attacks or strokes), and providing reassurance to a casualty.
2. CPR and basic life support – cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and basic life support are vital life-saving skills. This course covers performing CPR on adults and children, using a defibrillator (AED), managing choking incidents, and recognising the signs of cardiac arrests.

Our Courses

1. Emergency first aid at work – our emergency first aid at work course is perfect for small businesses that need to have a qualified first aider on-site. It covers the basics of first aid (including CPR, wound care and shock management), how to assess/treat minor injuries in the workplace and dealing with medical emergencies like seizures and burns.
2. First aid at work (FAW) – our first aid at work course is a comprehensive training program for larger organisations or those with higher-risk environments. It builds on the emergency first aid at work course and includes in depth first aid techniques for a range of different workplace injuries and managing complex injuries (e.g. fractures, head injuries, unconscious casualties). It also includes training on the legal requirements of health and safety in the workplace, and advice for businesses in keeping the workplace first aid compliant.

Other Services we offer:

Safeguarding adults and children awareness – these are crucial for anyone who works with vulnerable individuals. This course covers understanding relevant safeguarding policies, recognising the signs of abuse/neglect in children and adults, creating a safe environment for vulnerable individuals and the relevant reporting procedures for safeguarding concerns.

Mental capacity act and DOLS awareness – this is designed to help professionals understand the legal frameworks surrounding mental capacity and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DOLS). Topics include the understanding of mental capacity and decision-making rights and the role of DOLS and how to implement them.
